Measures in response to the coronavirus

March 2020 - For the sake of your and our safety, the ROTO companies are committed to preventing the spread of the coronavirus. In order to provide maximum protection for our employees, customers and suppliers, we follow the guidelines and protocols of the Dutch government and the RIVM (the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and Environment).

From Monday 16 March to Monday 6 April, and if necessary longer, the ROTO companies apply the following guidelines and protocols that are important to you:

  • All our employees are informed about the guidelines and protocols of the RIVM and use the additional hygienic means made available.
  • Our (sales) employees visit as few customers and suppliers as possible and work as much as possible from the office or from home. Only in exceptional cases and at the specific request of our customer, our employees may make customer visits.
  • Already planned consultations and/or meetings will take as much as possible by telephone, via Skype or MS Teams.
  • To reduce mutual contact, our production workers are divided into teams to ensure that there is more space during working hours and during breaks.
  • For the delivery and collection of products and orders by third parties, we ask the driver to enter our premises no further than the counters, to have as little contact with our employees as possible and to keep a minimum distance of 1.5 metres. Loading and unloading will take place outdoors as much as possible. We have made this information available at the entrances of our buildings.
  • When delivering your orders, our drivers will follow a number of specific guidelines for their own safety and that of you and your colleagues.
  • Our drivers open and close the trucks themselves.
  • Unloading with a forklift truck? Then please as much as possible outside.
  • Our drivers keep a minimum distance of 1.5 metres from you and your colleagues.
  • Delivery notes are not signed by you or your colleagues. Only the driver will sign with his initials.
